A custom quote is
quite complicated. Unfortunately, there is no
"cookie-cutter" or point-and-click way to quote, as
there are nearly an infinite number of options to be
considered. It takes up to two weeks for a custom
quotation. Following, we will highlight some of the
items that you will need to consider.
SHAPE & SIZE -- Consider a round tin or a
shape. Also consider the size (diameter) and the
height. Your sales representative can guide you on
tooling available for the custom structure you are
considering. Although the diameter of the tins
available are fixed, the heights are variable on
most sizes.
ARTWORK -- One of the most key components of
your quote will be your artwork. Your artwork
medium can be of a variety of sources. Your job
will be created using state-of-the-art computer
applications by a dedicated team of professionals.
In order to give you an accurate quote, it's
important for us to see your artwork. You can
E-Mail it to art@holidaytins.com.
PRINTING REQUIREMENTS -- The following items
can be printed. The top of the can, the side
panels, the inside of the lid, the inside of the
side panels, the bottom of the tin, and the inside
bottom of the tin. Each contributes to the cost.
Many consider a custom printed lid along with a
standard body.
EMBOSSING/DEBOSSING -- Another
option, embossing and debossing can be done. This
creates a three-dimensional image on the cover. This
is done with two pads that clam down when the lid is
formed.
PACKAGING -- A
consideration must be made to how the tins are to be
packaged.
The
lowest cost will be achieved by "tray packs" or bulk
packaging. Tray Packs is packing the lids
separately from the tins, with the bodies on tray
packs on pallets.
Optionally, tins and bodies can be assembled and
packaged in case quantities (many tins 24 to a
case).
HOW LONG DOES IT
TAKE? -- From time approval is given from the
proof, allow up to 12 weeks. This will vary
depending on the job and the season.
